Bhool Bhulaiyaa has registered the biggest box office opening for any Bollywood film in UK this year.
The Akshay Kumar-starer Bhool Bhulaiyaa , has registered the biggest box office opening for any Bollywood films this year in the UK and made it to the top ten in film charts there.
"The comic-thriller, directed by Priyadarshan, notched up 293,905 pounds in three days and reached 7th spot in the charts," a release in UK said on Wednesday.
The film by T-series, released on October 12, has topped the big banner Yash Raj release Laaga Chunari Mein Daag across the globe, it said.
In US too, Bhool Bhulaiyaa opened with a staggering USD 512,000 and the total first three-day billing outside India for the film reached Rs 6.5 crores, compared to Rs 4.75 crores brought in by Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, it added.
This comes as a big surprise because Yash Raj films is considered a giant in the overseas specially, with movies that have heavy duty cast and focus on Indian culture and traditions.
