Bhama of Nivedhyam enters Tamil filmdom through a Shaji Kailas film. She will be seen in Ellam Avan Seyyal, remake of Shaji's Chinthamani Kolakkesu.
Ramakrishna play the role played by Suresh Gopi and Bhama plays the female lead. It's her debut Tamil film. Prakashraj plays the villain role that was played by Saikumar in Chinthamani Kolakkesu. Manoj K Jayan, and Vijaya Kumar form the other cast.
Different from Malayalam movie, Ellam Avan Seyyal, is liberally sprinkled with humour. The shooting of the film is progressing in Chennai. Actress Roja too acts in this film and plays the role played by Vani Vishwanath in the Malayalam film.
