ACTRESS BHAGYASHREE, who mesmerized the movie lovers with her performance in the super-hit movie ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ with Bollywood star Salman Khan, now desires to direct a film, assigning the same actor with another actress.
“If things go well and I go on producing a film in future, I may choose Salman to perform in the movie with another actress,” she said in response to a query.
The actress added that earlier, she directed a film ‘Ufumma’. The movie was based on the fantasy of a married man, who always liked a woman other than his wife.
Talking to the Hindustan Times during the shooting of a Bhojpuri film, ‘Deva’ the actress, informed that talks were on with other directors and producers for her engagement in four films including, two in English directed by Som Shukla for film festivals. The final agreement is likely to take place sometime in the next month.
Speaking over the Bhojpuri films, she said, earlier she had performed in a film, ‘Uthai Lo Ghunghata, Chhand Dekh Lo’ and ‘Deva’ is second such movie.
Commenting over the people of UP and Bihar, she said in Mumbai, we had a very wrong impression about the people of these states. The impression was that people of these states were dangerous, but in fact, people of these two states were very emotional and helping, which was quite different from the so-called projected picture.
“Recently, I was in Chunar area of Mirzapur district for the shooting of Deva along with actor Manoj Tiwari. I was supposed to change my costume several times during the shooting. The venue was overcrowded so a couple of the village took me inside their house with respect and provided me some moments of privacy,” she said.
Bhagyashree arrived in the city from Mumbai on Friday and performed worship in the ancient temples. She went for a shoot at the auditorium of Rasrang Mandal at Sigra today.
