The successful Kannada film 'Banamathi' directed by Jayasimha with Devaraj, Sobharaj, Deepa and Kandana in the lead is being dubbed into Telugu by Giri on the banner of Gurukul Movies. The first copy is ready. Producer Giri says, 'A sorcerer kills several children in human sacrifice to earn special powers through Banamati.
How a police officer unsolved the mystery is the subject. Devaraj played the role of police officer, while Sobharaj played the sorcerer. The glamour of Deepa and Kandana would remain an asset for the success of the film. We are planning to release the film in July.' Music is by MS Maruthi.
