The TDP chief has chosen to remain silent about Daggubati Purandareswari’s comments. Purandareswari has said the chief minister Dr. Y S Rajashekar Reddy is the true successor of her father, the late N T Rama Rao. The comment has caused a lot of heartburn among the TDP cadre.
Babu is silent because Purandareswari is now like the head of the family for the NTR parivar. Everyone fondly calls her as ‘Chinnamma’. All the family members look her upon with a lot of respect and she also holds a lot of clout among in the family.
So Babu does not want to antagonize her in any way. If he makes an adverse comment against her, many members of NTR family may not take kindly to this. So Babu has decided to keep silent over the issue.
