The move by the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu to project the BSP chief and UP chief minster Mayawathi as the prime ministerial candidate has not gone down well with the leadership of the BJP. But they can do nothing about it now as the trust vote is just 24 hours away.
The BJP has been projecting its leader LK Advani s the prime ministerial candidate for quite some time now. The BJP is the second largest party in Lok Sabha and hopes to emerge as the party in contention for power soon. Babu, by brining in Mayawathi into the picture has in a way dampened the chances of Advani having a shot at the top post.
