After seeing the preview of the movie, few in the industry who were eying at the famous English movie "Final Destination", felt Barathan has "chutti- fied" the story and spoiled their plans for "chutting" that story.
The director of Vijay starrer Azagiya Thamiz Makan, Barathan claims that the story of the movie was truly written by S. K. Jeeva and was wrote some time in the year 2005.
When asked about why the story seems to be similar to that of the English movie, he clarifies that if the theme is similar then the story will also look similar????
