After Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, it now comes as no surprise that Asin is going to star in an English-film too!
Attempts are now being made to adapt one of MD Vasudevan Nair's stories into a film. This one is most likely to be titled The Night 3 Step. Bharat Bali is going to direct the film in English. He says that he intends to make it a big budget extravaganza with some Hollywood actors too in important roles.
But before he finalise the hero, the director has made it a point to sign up Asin for the female lead role. Other than her Dasavatharam in Tamil and Ghajini remake in Hindi, she hasn't yet accepted any other offer. So, she has call sheets for this film. The director says that he is keen rope in either Mohanlal or Kamal Hassan to play the male lead role, but nothing has been finalized yet.
