All is not well with the Bachchan bahu on the professional front. If reports are to be believed then actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is no more a part of Shankar's ambitious project Robot, being made with South superstar Rajnikanth in the lead. And that's not all. She is all believed to be out of Nal Palin's film being made on the life of Gautam Buddha
Ash's exit from the film will stop her from being the most highly paid Bollywood actress. She was reportedly offered Rs 4 crore to work in Shankar's film. Also, she was paired opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the film, which is going to be made in both Tamil and Hindi. According to reports doing the round, Ash's loss is likely to become Deepika Padukone's gain. Shankar is believed to be keen to cast her in his film in place of the Bachchan bahu.
Apparently, the director wanted Ash to give him dates spread over a period of two years, which she was unwilling to do. So if reports are to believed, then out went Ash and in came Deepika. Incidentally, this is not the only film that Ash has lost out on in recent times. Just a couple of days ago, she also lost out on Nal Palin's film being made on the life of Gautam Buddha. She had been signed on to play the role of Buddha's wife, Princess Yashodhara.
