Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston is reportedly furious with former husband Brad Pitt for handing over the role of slain journalist Daniel Pearl’s widow to his new lady love Angelina Jolie.
A Mighty Heart to be produced by Pitt’s company Plan B, was originally written keeping Aniston in mind.
Apart from that, the role in the film is a potential Oscar winner that chronicles Pearl’s widow, Mariane’s search for her husband after he was abducted and later killed in Pakistan in 2002.
A source revealed that Aniston was “horrified” that Pitt had cast Jolie in the role that was meant for her.
"She's horrified that Brad has handed the role meant for her to Angelina," Contactmusic quoted the source, as telling British newspaper The Sun.
"It was Jen who persuaded Daniel Pearl's wife to sell their production company Plan B, the movie rights. It is heartless but the bottom line is Brad got ownership of the company in their divorce settlement, so he can do what he likes," the source added.
