Anil Kapoor has maintained his pace in the Bollywood despite advancing age. He has done variety of roles in his near three-decade-old career and is labeled as the 'race winning' horse still by the producers.
The actor has run the Bollywood marathon for 27 years and 2007 looks promising with upcoming 'Salaam-e-Ishq', Subhash Ghai's Black and White and Anees Bazmee's 'Welcome' slated for release as well as 'Gandhi Viruddh Gandhi' and 'Shortcut' which he is producing.
Anil made his Bollywood debut in Hamare Tumhare in 1979 where he had a supporting role. After a few minor roles in films such as Shakti (1982) he got his first leading role in the 1983 film Woh Saat Din and after that never looked back.
Born on 24 December in Mumbai started his career at the age of 20 and has delivered hits like Teejab, Ram Lakhan Parinda.
His father Surinder Kapoor and brother Boney Kapoor are producers, while younger brother Sanjay Kapoor is also a well known Bollywood actor though not as successful.
