A day after getting engaged to Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai visited her fiance's ailing grandmother Teji Bachchan at Lilavati Hospital to seek her blessings.
Accompanied by Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya remained with Teji for quite some time, sources said.
Teji was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra a couple of months ago.
Aishwarya and Abhishek got engaged at a quiet ceremony at Bachchan's residence Jalsa in suburban Juhu yesterday. Abhishek had reportedly proposed Aishwarya at New York after the premiere of Mani Ratnam's "Guru"
