 The Akshay Kumar – Vipul Shah Jodi is all ready to strike again. The duo started with AANKHEN, followed it up with WAQT – RACE AGAINST TIME and then NAMASTEY LONDON. The combination is now involved in SINGH IS KINNG, being helmed by WELCOME director Anees Bazmee. Meanwhile, Vipul has almost completed the script of his next film -- which he will direct himself -- with Akshay once again. It’s titled ACTION REPLAY. “But it’s not an action film,” Akshay corrects me, sounding excited at the idea of working with one of his favourites once again. However, there’s a possibility that Vipul might opt for a Hindi title for the film. “The English title [ACTION REPLAY] gives an impression that it’s a hardcore action film, which it isn’t. Also, English titles have their limitations in the heartland. People identify more with a Hindi title,” Vipul explains his point of view. I agree! Meanwhile, Vipul will finalize the balance cast and crew in a few days from now!

The actress is also quite upbeat about her role as an airhostess in the forthcoming film Hijack, a high voltage action thriller that also stars Shiney Ahuja. Talking about this mid-air thriller — which is a more Arjun’s-big-action-film-Gajendra-  Action king Arjun is now coming back in Telugu with another big action entertainer. The film titled Gajendra is all set to hit the screens on October 1. Gajala and Keerat are the female leads. Gajendra will be an action packed entertainer long the lines of Oke Okkadu and Gentleman. The latest innovation on the action front is about ten-minutes of animation action in Cash, a la Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill featuring Zayed Khan, Shamita Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Esha Deol and Ajay Devgan. Explains director Anubhav Sinha, "We've worked very hard on the action scenes of Cash. And I'd really not like them to be compared with Dhoom or even my own Dus. But yes, what we've done in Cash is unique. For the first time we've j more ‘Vaadevadaina-Saray-Nenu-Ready’-in-second-schedule- The second schedule of ‘Vaadevadaina Saray Nenu Ready’ directed by T Venky, presented by Appala Naidu and produced by S Srinivas on the banner of Srivari Creations is presently in progress at Ghatkesar on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Director says, ‘The film has action in its backdrop. Presently we are shooting some action scenes. We prepared a subject which could attract all classes of audiences.’ Producer says, ‘Besides action, the film has lot of scope for good music. Arjun scored fantastic music for the movie. The doctors treating him say that NTR may be discharged in three to four days. But they say that he will need to take complete bed rest for anywhere between six to 12 weeks.
