For the second consecutive year, Andhra Pradesh turned up the number one rank holder in the civil services exams. Adapa Karthik, an IPS probationer made it in his fourth attempt. He completed his MBBS before appearing for IPS.
He is now in a dilemma as he has completed five month of training at the National Police Academy and is awaiting posting. He is unable to choose between the IAS and the IPS.
