Re-mixes, realty shows, Bollywood music and Western culture were not harming Indian classical music but actually popularised it, pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, creator of Mohan veena said. Realty shows are good for music as they are popularising Indian music among youngesters, Bhatt told reporters here.

South India and West Bengal were very well connected with art and culture and the audience was very responsive he said. Bhatt, who has performed in various parts of Kerala, said the state had not been much influenced by western culture.
