The Malayalam film 'Notebook' did very well in Kerala despite controversies and is to be re-made in Tamil with the same title.
'Notebook' was made by P V Gangadharan for Grihalakshmi Films. The film was directed by Roshan Andrews, who had earlier directed Mohanlal and Meena in 'Udayanaana Thaaram.' His second film 'Notebook' also ran very well and raked in the profits.
The concept of the story created a debate. The film is about 6 male and female students who live in the streets and study, but without proper guidance, they go astray and spoil their lives.
If parents and children understand each other, there will be no room for problems. With this concept in mind, 'Notebook' will be released next month in Tamil with some minor changes.
