Ex-lovers Shahid and Kareena meet publicly, while the next day Kareena hitches a taxi-ride with new boyfriend Saif

She has clearly moved on to a new man and he has been linked with a series of lovelies ranging from Vidya Balan, Amrita Rao to Sania Mirza, but if their behaviour at a recent film function is anything to go by, Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur haven't had, what Americans would call, closure.
The two ex-lovers sat two seats away from each other and according to eye witnesses, Kareena, who was sitting with new love Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim, couldn't stop her eyes from straying in Shahid's direction every few minutes and likewise.
Tongues also wagged when Shahid walked into the venue just as Kareena was about to start her on-stage performance and later both met backstage. First, Kareena left and immediately after Shahid followed her; the two then spent several minutes chatting pleasantly.
An eyewitness tells us, "After they shook hands, they spoke for some minutes. Both seemed very normal with each other. There were no awkward moments or any clumsiness when they spoke. It was sweet to see both of them talking so comfortably with each other."

Clearly, there is no bad blood between the two ex-lovers but no reasons yet for Saif to get jittery. The fact that his relationship with Kareena has moved to the next level is evident from the fact that he is letting her spend more time with his children. Earlier too, when he was with Rozza, Saif was firm that she got to know his children well, and if his avowed intentions to marry Kareena are anything to go by he would want his children to get to know her better.
Subsequently, on Sunday evening Saif and Kareena were also spotted at the Santacruz airport waiting for their car and when there seemed to be no sign of their chauffeur, the two just hopped on to a black and yellow fiat taxi and whizzed off. That's what we call romance, Mumbai-style.
