The attack on the Telugu daily offices Andhra Jyothy by the activists of MRPS has received wide spread condemnation from all quarters. Even the ruling congress party condemned the attack. But one person was conspicuous by his silence. It is none other than the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu.
Normally, it is Babu who is the first person to open his mouth and condemn such attacks on media. But this time he preferred to ignore the attack. With the by polls just round the corner, Babu is afraid of losing the votes of the SCs and STs. This is the reason why he choose to remain silent.
Many people are now criticizing Babu for his opportunistic politics. He has exposed hi duplicity once again. They are saying – would Babu have dared to have remain silent if the MRPS activists had attacked Eenadu daily or ETV instead of Andhra Jyothy?
