Bollywood bombshell Shilpa Shetty knew her fans loved her, she just did not know how much.
When the actress, known for her perfect figure, gave out her e-mail address to the public she thought it would help her interact better with her fans. Instead, the actress received thousands of marriage proposals.
"It's really amazing to discover so many people love you," Shetty told the Times of India in an interview published Wednesday.
"I want to make it clear that my e-mail ID is meant to facilitate interaction with my fans; this is not a marriage portal," she said.
In the first three days after she gave out her e-mail she received 2,500 letters, she said.
Still, she shouldn't be surprised .Shetty has acted in more than 40 movies — most of them romances — since her 1993 debut.
