I have no experience when it comes to marriage. So I really cannot say. But my friends who are married say it is the best thing to happen to them. They simply cannot live without their wives. In fact my father has two wives so he is the happiest person. And let me tell you both his wives get along very well.

• Is the Indian film industry coming forward to do anything for the bomb blast victims?

I don't know about others but I am collecting money for the victims and I will directly give it to the affected families.

• Do you feel that we are really free after 59 years of Independence?

No. In fact I feel really sad for those people who have been brainwashed and have done all this. No religion promotes violence. I don't understand why people do these things.

• So were we better off with the British?

We were being ruled then and we are being ruled now. So I really don't know. Until the common man stands up for himself, nothing will make a difference.

• Have you travelled in a crowded bus or train in Mumbai before?

Yes. But that was before Maine Pyaar Kiya was released. When I went to college or to movies with my friends, the local train was our most preferred mode of transport.

• What is Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar all about?

It is about a young man who falls in love with this model, who is nowhere close to his idea of a perfect woman. It is a family film.
