Everything is decided the make-up artist, the photographer and the works.
"I just need to find a man to get married to," laughs Sameera Reddy "Over the years, the fantasy of my man coming on a white horse has just not changed. But as a wise person once told me, ‘happily ever after’ is the biggest lie!"
Whatever the rumours may say, Sameera insists she is single. "There is no time for anything! I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship if I know that I can’t give it my 100 per cent. I don’t like volatile relationships. I think that when you select your life partner, it is not because someone makes you go crazy but because both of you share companionship and respect for each other. It is about giving each other space and having faith. For me, love is not all about diamonds. I would rather have a man in my life who is crazy about the person that I am," she explains.
And what about the link-ups? "After a hard day’s work, do you really think I would like to go back home to the person I have worked with the whole day? I don’t think so! I really don’t know where these link-ups originate!"
But her ‘hard days’ work’ is giving results. After the recent Race, she is now all set to appear in Mira Nair’s Migration and Buddhadep Dasgupta’s projects. "Mira had wanted me to do an intimate scene in the movie and I have to confess that I am not very comfortable doing one. I am way past my Musafir days where I wore hot pants and danced. Work has to be meaningful and classy and yes, Mira is all of that. But at the same time, it was difficult doing the scene," she confesses. Sam is also doing Mahayoddha Ram , which is an animation movie and she will do the voice-over for Sita. "It is an amazing experience to be a part of the animation world," she says.
