The teenage tennis sensation from Hyderabad, Sania Mirza is going through a lean patch. The world number 33 ranked player has not had a great run this year. She crashed out of the WTA Bank of the West classic tournament in the first round in straight sets. She lost to the 83rd seed Keothovong.
Sania is battling injuries and poor form. Her bad run is a cause of worry to her as well as her parents. Sania is also said to be a bit distracted with other developments in her personal life. She is now moving closely with Bollywood hero Shahd Kapoor.
Sania Mirza’s biggest test is the forthcoming Olympics for which she has gained a wild card entry. Will she recover from her injuries and get back into form in time for Olympics? This is the question that is uppermost in mind of her parents as well as her fans.
