The chief Chandra Babu Naidu has been struggling to hold his party together. The recent desertions of leaders like Devender Goud and others have weakened him considerably. But Babu got a boost to his morale from unexpected and unlikely quarters.
The congress party by deciding to part ways with the Left has infused new blood into the TDP. Babu is now happy to align with the Left. The entry of Mayawati’s BSP has given a further boost to Babu and the TDP. Babu can now aim to consolidate his vote bank among the backward castes with the help of the BSP.
The Left, TDP and BPP combine will give Babu the much needed strength to take on not only the Congee but also the proposed political party of megastar Chiranjeevi Babu is also now in a position to curb dissidence in his party. The TDP chief is thankful to the Congress for strengthening his hands and boosting up his sagging image and morale.
