Ingredients

Potatoes 3
Milk 1ltr
Sugar 1 tbsp
Dry fruits, half crushed 1/3 cup
Ghee for frying
Edible colour or soaked saffron 1 tsp

Method:
  • Peel potatoes and add in half boiled milk.
  • Add ½ cup water and let it boil.
  • As the milk is boiling, keep on crushing the potatoes till they become soft and merge with the milk.
  • In a separate pan, fry the dry fruits in ghee.
  • Add the fried dry fruits to the milk along with sugar.
  • Boil till a thick porridge like consistency is reached.
  • Serve in bowls garnished with colour or saffron that is pre-soaked in water.
