IT sleuths raid Mahesh Babu and Charmy The Income Tax sleuths have conducted as surprise raid on some top actors and technicians in Tollywood. A big team of income tax officials has swooped down on the residences of Prince Mahesh Babu, Actress Charmy, director VV Vinayak and producer Dil Raju.
The tax officials are conduction search operations at their residences and offices of these people. The phone connections and other means of communication have also been cut. The tax reads and the search operations are expected to continue till late in the night.

Bollywood DVDs seized in London British police have seized about 1.5 lakh pirated Bollywood DVDs and other counterfeit goods worth over five million pounds in a raid at a London suburb.
Four people were arrested and three cars seized from Hayes, near Southhall, with more arrests expected to follow, police said on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, officers carried out the raid under "Operation Don", code-named after a Bollywood action flick, and seized almost two million items.
The estimated 13 tonnes of merchandise included about two lakh counterfeit DVDs, three-quarters of which were Indian titles, as well as CDs and sports goods.

Mammootty's Annan Thambi opened big in Kerala. The film has taken a distributors share of Rs 1.07 crore in four days from 75 screens. It is a new opening record for any film in Kerala.

Cine Planet, a multiplex was constructed at Kompally and Vijayalakshmi 70mm, was opened at LB Nagar. Both of them were inaugurated recently and thrown open for pubic.
