Sequel to ‘Mayuri’
A sequel to the successful film ‘Mayuri’ with Sudha Chandran in the lead is ready for release. ‘Mayuri 2’ has been directed by Subhakar who incidentally was the hero in the first film. He is also playing the hero as well as producing the film. Shatrugan Sinha is doing a special role in the film. Music is by Chakri. The film will hit the screen shortly.

Mayuri is Ready to do Item Numbers
Asha Saini, who changed her name as Mayuri, had played in various Telugu, Hindi and Tamil films. She faced rough weather in recent times and unfortunately she was caught in various legal tangles. Lux Papa changes her name!
Asha Saini who acted in a few Telugu films besides Hindi has changed her name to Mayuri. She rose to fame with the song ‘Lux Papa, Lux Papa. . . .’ She was out of action for some time.
She is now back with a new name – Mayuri. And she has signed up to play the lead oppsite Jagapathi Babu in ‘Swagatham’. Hope the change of name will also bring about a change in luck in her career.

The shooting of ‘Aa Intlo…’ directed by artiste-turned-director Chinna and produced by S Srinivasa Reddy, V Raju Choudary, P Manojkumar Reddy and A Jitendra Reddy on the banner of Union Entertainments with Chinna, Vinodkumar and Mayuri in the lead, is almost complete but for the canning of a song.
Speaking on the occasion, debutant director Chinna says, ‘The film is basically of horror genre. Each scene in the film would be full of suspense and nail baiting. The film revolves around a house. We will soon launch the audio. We are making efforts to release the film in June.’
