Sequel to ‘Mayuri’
A sequel to the successful film ‘Mayuri’ with Sudha Chandran in the lead is ready for release. ‘Mayuri 2’ has been directed by Subhakar who incidentally was the hero in the first film. He is also playing the hero as well as producing the film. Shatrugan Sinha is doing a special role in the film. Music is by Chakri. The film will hit the screen shortly.

Bollywood actor accused for rape
Upcoming Bollywood actor Shaini Ahuja, who was accused for raping the servant maid of his house, was arrested yesterday by the Mumbai police. He is said to be raped the servant maid while they both were alone in the house. Police have collected the evidences of the crime and shifted him to judicial custody. 'I don't like remakes': Vyjantimala
After Sanjay Leela Bhansali's take on Sharat Chandra's classic novel 'Devdas', two more filmmakers, Anurag Basu and Sudhir Mishra have announced their cinematic take on the classic.
But yesteryear superstar Vyjantimala Bali, who played Chandramukhi in Bimal Roy's 'Devdas' opposite Dilip Kumar, doesn't approve of the film's remakes.
"I don't like remakes" is Vyjantimala's short-and-straight forward reply when asked to comment on various 'Devdas' remakes.

‘Aa Intlo…’
The shooting of ‘Aa Intlo…’ directed by artiste-turned-director Chinna and produced by S Srinivasa Reddy, V Raju Choudary, P Manojkumar Reddy and A Jitendra Reddy on the banner of Union Entertainments with Chinna, Vinodkumar and Mayuri in the lead, is almost complete but for the canning of a song.
Speaking on the occasion, debutant director Chinna says, ‘The film is basically of horror genre. Each scene in the film would be full of suspense and nail baiting. The film revolves around a house. We will soon launch the audio. We are making efforts to release the film in June.’

Ushakiron Movies New Film
The audio of 'Nachavule' directed by Ravibabu and produced by Ch Ramoji Rao on the banner of Ushakiron Movies, was released at Ramoji Film City recently. This is the 81st film on the banner. Ramoji Rao released the first audiocassette and CD, while Ravibabu received them.
