Kadai Paneer Curry

Ingredients:

Paneer 2 cups
Capsicum 1
Onion 1
Ginger 1
Garlic 4 cloves
Kasoori methi 1 tbsp
Dhania powder 1/2 tbsp
Red chilli 2
Green chilli 1
Tomatoes 2
Garam masala 1/4 tsp
Ghee 3 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp


Directions:


  • Chop onion ,capsicum,and 1/2inch ginger into lengthwise pieces.
  • Grind the other half inch ginger, garlic, dhania powder, red chillies, green chilli and tomatoes into paste.
  • Cut paneer into cubes. Chop the kasoori methi fine.
  • Fry the capsicum, onion and ginger in 1 tablespoon ghee till soft.
  • Keep aside.
  • Fry in 1 tbsp ghee, the masala till raw smell disappears.
  • Add the paneer, kasooti methi, the fried capsicum and onion.
  • Mix in the salt, the remaining 1 tbsp ghee and garam masala.
  • Toss for a bit and remove from heat.
  • This is a dry curry.
