Popular TV anchor Mandirra Bedi has been signed to play a role in a Telugu film. The film titled 'John Apparao 40 plus' will star Krishna Bhagavan in the lead. Mandira is reportedly being paid 30 lakhs for the film. Kuchipdi Venkat who directed 'Modati Cinema' will direct the film.

'John Appa Rao 40+' for release on March 5
Directed and produced by Kuchipudi Venkat on the banner of Black and Eight Act, 'John Apparao 40+' with Krishna Bhagawan, Simran and Ruthika in the lead was earlier slated for release on February 14 but was postponed due to some technical snags. The film unit had utilized the delay time to complete the Digital Intermediate works and other visual effects to brighten the victory chances of the flick.
