Hot Pepper Chicken

Ingredients:

Chicken 1/2kg.
Onions medium 2
Garlic 2 tbsp
Ginger 2 tbsp
Green chillies slit open 2 or 3
Turmeric powder pinch.
Coriander powder 2 tbsp.
Chilli powder 1 tbsp.

Masala to be powdered :

Jeera seeds 1 tbsp.
Pepper seeds 2 tbsp.
Ani seeds 1 tbsp.
Curry leaves a few.

These masala items should saute well without oil and crushed nicely.

Oil as required
Salt to taste.





Directions:

  • Clean the chicken well and marinate it with salt and turmeric.
  • In a kadai add oil , onions, garlic, ginger and green chilies. Saute well to golden brown.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, and chicken and saute well for 2-5 minutes.
  • Add the grounded masala , salt and sprinkle water if it becomes sticky.
  • We can use curd as an option when the chicken is cooked well and bring it down.
  • Hot pepper chicken is ready
