KS Rama Rao's appeal to top heroes The President of Film Chamber KS Rama Rao made an appeal to all the top heroes. He asked the top heroes to work in at least two films every year. Mathrubhumi Film Awards 2007 announced

The Mathrubhumi-P.S.S. Film Awards 2007 have been announced.
The Tamil movie Pokkiri has been judged as the best film and its director Prabhudeva as best director.
Nayantara has been selected as best actress for her performance in the Tamil film E and Vijay, the best actor for Pokkiri.
Awards for the best director and actors carry a cash award of Rs.50,000 each and the best film Rs.1 lakh.

Film Fare Awards function in Hyd

The 56th annual Idea Film Fare awards 2008 function will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre in Hyderabad on July 31. The gala function will be attended by the who’s who of south Indian cinema.
