Aloo Dum

Ingredients:


Small potato 250 gms
Oil 4 tbsp
Onions 2
Tomatoes 2
Red chillies 2
Dhania seeds 1 tsp
Saunf 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Jeera 1/2 tsp
Green chillies 2
Salt 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves few


Directions:


  • Boil and peel the potatoes and fry in 2 tbsp of oil till light brown in color.
  • Remove and keep aside.
  • Chop onions and tomatoes.
  • Roast and powder the red chillies, dhania seeds and saunf.
  • Heat remaining oil in a pan add the jeera. When it splutters, add the slit chillies and onions. Fry till light gold in color.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till it gets mushy.
  • Add potatoes, masala powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Fry till dry.
  • Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
